Precarious days

It's August 27, 9:03 UTC time. After waking up this morning I went to my office to check the news. I'm expecting bad news. They keep coming, and all I can do is write short warning notes to my FB friends (like drive carefully etc.) and hope that things aren't getting worse.
We have reached the end of August. Let's see what I wrote about this period in my August 2011 forecast:
Lunar upper declination on August 23 is another "danger time", as the Moon makes a parallel to Mars and its south node on the same day. Increased seizmic activity, explosions and even terrorist activity could be a result of this planetary combination, with a volatile period lasting right until the end of the month. The parallel of Mars to the south lunar node is going to be exact on August 27 and 28 (note that this planetary configuration was in effect on July 22 this year - the day of terrorist activity in Oslo, Norway), whereas the combination of new moon and perigee on 29 and 30 could bring more bad weather and rains.
So, what did we have? Two strong and unusual earthquakes (territory-wise, earthquakes being very rare in those areas) in USA on August 23 (Virginia and Colorado), an upsurge of mass aggression (New Mexico with 53 casualties, terrorist attacks in Nigeria etc.) around August 26, paralleling that of July 22, and Hurricane Irene is looming large as we near the last days of August.
Let's see what's happening, moon-wise:
new moon (29) + lunar equator crossing (29) + perigee moon (30)
Three critical lunar stages in the course of only two days, that's very significant!!!
I wrote a post on my FB wall the other day which only 2 people liked (no wonder):
The Moon nearing perigee + new moon + equator crossing .... All in the last days of August. Auch, could be devastating!!!! Lots of rain and bad weather in many parts of the world and even a possibility of another very strong earthquake, soon. Hold on, people, take care...
So, these days are coming near. We have this stupenduously looking hurricane nearing the east coast of US, its center peaking on the land in a few hours' time. What's history saying about hurricanes in that region?

The most powerful, costliest and deadliest hurricane in New England history was The New England Hurricane of 1938, which hit land on September 21 - just one day after the perigee moon on September 20. The next coincidence (and parallel) with Irene is that it also formed during the last quarter Moon phase, and made landfall two days before new moon. That hurricane was estimated to have killed between 682 and 800 people and damaged or destroyed over 57,000 homes.
The last news say that the storm is weakening and slowing down a bit, but even if it's not going to be so disastruous (which I fear it will, especially as concerns the amount of rain which's probably going to drop), what are these next precarious days going to bring?
More numerous and stronger earthquakes, that's very probable. There's an earthquake sworm in central California already going on, let's just hope that it stays at that. There was one above 5 in central Mongolia today, but we have some 5 days to go before those natural forces loose strength.
Weather turning bad in many parts, that's quite sure as well, with rains, winds and thunderstorms. Old structures fall at such times, in all spheres of life.
But in a few days' time, school begins (at least where I live, which is Europe) and we'll start anew.
Stay well :)

Re: Precarious days
We knew the times were going to be stormy with Mars kicking his heels in Cancer and the parallels to the Moon. Also, wasn't Mars out of bounds at that time? I go with your last sentance - we'll start anew and Stay well!

Mars went "inbounds" on August 20, but the Moon in perigee brought so much rain... The worst damage has been done by floods - especially in Vermont, worst in 84 years. abcnews.go.com/US/hurricanes/hurricane-irene-vermont-flooding-kills-missing/story?id=14402696

Hundreds missing, 45 dead after ship sinks off Tanzania
www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-14864400
I looked at the ACG chart for Africa for the last New Moon. If you check the chart you will see Nep/DC and Chiron/DC cross at the exact place the ship went down. New Moon is set for Zanzibar, Tanzania.
With your eclipse charts, ema, do you set them for a specific place ie. London, New York..etc?
